My 1st Race Ever Report

Slight drift -- I always giggle when women have the goal of not being last. It's so, so common, you can't even believe. I've been last a bunch of times -- there's no shame in it. Remember, you're still ahead of all the couch potatos who aren't out there.

We have a woman on our team who is 65, and racing 'cross for the first season. She has been last at a number of races (including road and TT over the summer months). After Sunday's race, we were together looking at the results and she was SO EXCITED because she WASN'T LAST - she had beat one other racer!

BTW - the best line ever from her (covered head to toe with mud) - "Are you having as much fun as I am?"

She's my hero!
