    I find if I accidentally pull them up too high they chafe - about two inches from my crotch is about where the safe zone ends. It still leaves me plenty of overlap so I don't have a cold patch of skin sticking out.

    i'm kinda tall for a woman (5'9")... sometimes women's sizing are too "short" for me... if i get a larger size then they're tall enough but too "loose" (tights, knickers, etc)... and i sometimes have to buy in the men's department... but mostly women's sizes work out fine
