An accident at 30mph?! You don't mess around do you? I suppose if you're gonna do it, do it big...

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and enjoy your new bike!

hmmmm, I wonder what will be more painful: a) recovering or b) looking at your new bike and not being able to ride yet.

Silver, I'm so sorry to hear about your crash. Do not laugh. Seriously, laughing hurts so bad when you've got broken ribs. No comedy shows, no reading funny posts on TE, no silly friends, no Sunday comics. Do not laugh. Or sneeze. Or roll over. Heck, what can you do? I think you deserve to sit on the sofa and let hubby bring you bon bons and chocolate milk!

I hope you feel better soon, Silver!

    Get better chick

    ((((SILVER))))

Get well soon. Hope to get to meet you at next year's Hilly! I'm so glad that my crash at 20+ last month only resulted in stitches to my face! Congrats on the new bike though! You deserve it!

well... adding my name to the many wishing you well... I crashed at 30kph 18mths ago and that was not pretty... 30mph??? Dont wanna think about it.

Wishing you speedy bone-knitting and easing of swollen bits... if you don't have it already get arnica... a cream to rub on the bruises (but not open wounds) and arnica liquid or tablets to work on the bruising from the inside.

If I had no other first aid thing in the house, I would have arnica...
