What's happened to my candy dish?!

In order to get ready for Halloween trick-or-treaters, I had to fish my trusty ol' candy dish out of storage. I couldn't find it.. where did it go?
Oh, I realized, it was already in use. Looking at my old dish in a new light, what has become of me...?

Okay - I realized that I was planning on what type of candy to give away that would be best for leftovers and riding. Paydays and Snickers, because I can use them on rides if I have any left!

Nah, these treats stay at home. (Can you imagine a non-TE-mom going through junior's candy bag and finding fluid replacement tabs and packets of Gu?)

For the kiddies, I've settled on these mini fruit roll-ups from Whole Foods. They're organic, tasty and only 60 calories each.
A while ago, I picked up some bite-sized Clif bar samples at a race, but couldn't find them on the retail market. They would have been great for the T-o-T'ers.

LOL! We have a "snack" jar in our kitchen that looks just like this! And no way would I hand out my cliff shot blocks. They are mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!
