Ah, sorry Kit. I'm sure she's fine. I didn't mean to plant that in your head. She's probably just sleeping it off like you said. After a night and day like she had, I wouldn't hear the phone either. (and I wake up over every little sound) When you get home, you'll find her quietly drooling into her pillow. Now doesn't that sound better?

Knotted - glad you're among the living and warm blooded again. I'm all bundled up too. My nose is cold though so I guess that means I'm healthy.

It's not my birthday till November 18th...I'm just planning ahead. But thank you! I'll go back and read it again!

I love stale Peeps, too. You have to slit open the package and then forget about them.

Isn't that cool how they used to only have them for Easter, but now they have them for Halloween, too??

Three day work week this week!

I am wearing the world's ugliest sweater. It is part of my Super Star costume. I have to take it off- it's just so bad...

Knot- do you ever sleep??? What are you doing up??

    doh! time change

I'm at work at 6:30 am because I missed the time change this morning. Clock in the bedroom hadn't been changed. More time to work on the proposal. I can crash Tuesday night.

OOPS!!! I should have looked at your bio. You got me. It doesn't happen often so savor it.

Sorry everybody, false alarm. Take down the signs and streamers. Put the cake in the freezer, we'll have it next month. Yeah, you can eat the chocolate gifts. They have a shelf life of what... about 3 days? Eat 'em if ya got 'em.

***slaps head and talks to herself** I only changed the clock by one hour. I'm soooo confused.

Isn't there some list on the forum front page way down at the bottom that says whose birthday it is that day?

I thought you were just being sneaky. Not everyone posts their b-day. Shoulda investigated further, that's all. Of course you caught it in time so I don't think the b-day gods will rack up an extra one in there. If they do, go for a nice long ride. I hear it can take years off a girl.
I've actually written your true b-day on my kitchen calendar so I don't screw up again. You understand tho... you're a Scorpio too.

I hope everything goes well with the snake dude. (first time I've ever said that in a sentence) Inez sounds divine.

Well, off to scrub in the tub. Just realized I'm still in my bike shorts. Gotta have time to stop for a few things on the way to work too. This hour jump is just messing me all up.

    have a good day y'all

I hate it when you contact someone and they don't.... read their emails.

happy not birthday Nanci, I have a bday in November too.

KY was cold for a reason. the temp dropped to 30 degrees last night here, i got up to discover my car encased in a block of solid ice. I had trouble opening the door and couldn't scrape the windows. I resorted to the forbidden dumping of a bucket of hot water over the windows. Worked great just like always.

I might ride the bike to work tomorrow since it's the last time I will be able to until spring.. and wednesday i am leaving on an airplane.
maybe i should buy some peeps (at full price!) for my cousins in Italy?
