I'm sure that the factory (specialized) would be doing the appropriate change out onsite from the date of the recall. So, if you haven't already purchased the bike...

Anytime there's mass production with parts coming in from all over the map, there's a risk. This factory or that might run a bad batch of something or other and it's not picked up in Quality Control... who knows.

Just glad I don't have to worry about it with my model (2003 Allez Comp)
