    Um.... wha?

Doing it the easy way first, hot tubbin'. (Now you know I never listen to my PT!) Time to go get a tad nekkid and eat some cookies. (just 2 cause of the banana split) I'll let ya know how it went if I don't drown.

I wish I knew what kind of wine goes with cookies. Oh, right, dessert wine. duh.

You never cease to amuse me Trek.
Actually, I had a 2004 Chardonnay by Virgin (of all names) from Cali. It's been hanging up there for a while, patiently waiting. Idon't believe I bought that, it must have been a gift. I liked it, tho. Not sure it normally goes with cookie but last night it would have gone with anything.
I have to say, it must have been the 1/2 glass of wine that caused the cookie mishap. Normally, you couldn't pry one out of my grip. (I actually am that cheap... **shakes head in disgust**)
Somewhat made up for my dietary slip(s) yesterday by getting on the trainer for an hour on my off day. (ride every other) Not feeling the guilt so much now. Guilt is destructive.

Glad that the Paris trip was for romantic purposes only, Lise. Sounds like a keeper. If anyone asked me to go to Paris, I'd be out the door. (I'll be right there, just give me 30 minutes to pack a little something.) I've never been to Europe and I have so many places I want to see.
Actually, the best pic I've had taken recently was my passport photo for my professional certification. Sad, but absolutely true. I'd love to get copies and make x-mas cards out of it. (Hey honey, check out this card. Is that Cindy? Wow, she never looks that good. )

    Have a spectacular day ladies.

Felt so rotten yesterday because of bad sleep, kept nodding off in important meetings with my union and our health care providers.

In between meetings I was on the floor doing some stretches (not child's pose)
and some guy walked in. I wonder what he thought i was doing down there...

I found a parking lot (behind the union office) with a great hill! I want to go back there on a saturday when there are no cars and try riding my bike up and down that little hill.

Then I had my italian club meeting last night and I KNEW I was going to die ... 2 more hours of sitting.. So I took out the trusty 26 pound Veloce (thanks to TE, I weighed it last night) and rode to the meeting in the almost rain.. so at least i didn't have total loss day.

Gee, Lise, PARIS?? Is that exotic, romantic, amazing? This guy has some $$?
what does he do for a living? I'm going to Italy in November, you can go to Paris in January. You just bring lots of warm underwear!

my secret sister gave me chocolate. And it's all gone!
(it must have been defective to disappear that fast!)

Knotted, i will do that exercise tonight. Sounds quite nice really. my deal is when i get into bed without doing any yoga stuff, the small of my back yells at me. And when i'm really really tired, it's hard to NOT do that.

Momof 3 maybe i oughto get one of those bras.. So it's not going to feel like a straightjacket with seams that cut into me? I hate bras SO MUCH.

Dessert wine....mmm....What kind? I am the WORST dessert wine hoarder. Luckily it ages well. I just finished off a (half) bottle of Muscat (Hardys) from Australia that I had open for two months! It was just too rich for me to drink more than a 2 oz glass at a time. And I'm a _good_ dessert wine drinker! My current fav is Bonny Doon Viognier Doux. (Bonny Doon Framboise is also amazing, and I also love Bonny Doon Muscat Vin de Glacier.) Plus I have a bunch of other weird stuff, like Zinfandel ice wine, and a Riesling ice wine from 1998.

Lise- I don't know...I have a friend at work, radiologist, who God knows why she's even single, but she was dating guys from Match.com, and they were all pretty nice (how'd she manage that???) but just not quite right. So she met this guy, maybe 35-40, financial something or other, last winter, and they went to Hawaii in September, and we're all teasing her- and yes, he did ask her to marry him on that trip. I think older guys, sometimes, know a good thing when they see it. Sometimes. If they are't big puXXies.

I made Choco musk me by kissing him too much...I think he thought I was going to eat him. Poor little guy! I really love that snake.

I am trying to figure out how to brumate Fagalo outside. I think it will be way healthier for him. I think I have to make him a big pile of earth/peat covered by leaves, withhold food two weeks, soak him daily, and see what happens. I don't think it's cold enough yet, though. BF says he will never forgive me if I kill Fagalo by brumating him. I tried to explain that it is necessary for resetting all his hormones and stuff.

Lise - I love Paris in the Springtime...... just a thought.... So glad it is working out well. Sigh!!

CWR - were you asking about Carboom the energy gel stuff? I used that a lot before I discovered banana Hammer gel. I really like them. Not super icky give you a huge rush sweet. More a steady sort of energy. They have an apple cinnamon sort of one that's good. And a peachy banana. All fairly natural, too. If you were talking about something more interesting than gels, ignore me...

    Gels

I like Carb Boom Vanilla Orange.

Didn't Power Gel used to make Key Lime? I liked that. I think they stopped.

    Gu Triberry, Orange and Banana

My favorite gel is Cranksports eGel Mountain Rush.

Second favorite is EnergIce Grape and Blue Raspberry. You freeze it!!

But lately, all I eat is Sport Beans...

    Good Afternoon Ladies!

CWR- I did indeed try one of the Carb Boom gels. The Cinnamon Apple to be exact. Yum!

Knot-I absolutely adore Child's pose. I could fall asleep in that position. After every run, my final cool down is 30 minutes of yoga. Ah, Bliss.

Lise-J sounds like a wonderful man and he is willing to attend a family holiday. WOW! I hope you both are able to find time to got of Paris. Personally, I loved Finland in January. Very nice, very romantic.

Xrayted- I am very glad you did not drown. Sorry to hear the cookie was not as fortunate. Ah Christmas cards. I like the idea of using your passport photo. I wonder if I could send one of my MRI photos...

Mimi- I do so hope your day is better than yesterday. The bra is great. For under $30 free shipping and free return if you dislike it, I say give it a try. I do not like bras either, but this one did not feel as though I was wearing anything. Oh a word on this one. I bought white. Do not wear it by itself if you sweat. When wet, it is very see through.

Nanci- Poor Choco, thinking you were going to eat him. He must have been terrified. You need to talk with him and explain how adorable he is. Has Fagalo ever spent the winter outside? Sounds like a lot of work and trial and error? I have no idea, but I wish you both the best and keep us updated. I am finding a new appreciation for different species by reading your posts.

I think that is everything for now. I am planning to read today. I was going to finish knitting my sweater, but I am in the mood to read. I have exercised, showered, the laundry is almost done, and the house looks as good as it is going to get. I refuse to go into the rooms my children inhabit. They will be cleaning those this weekend. Hopefully the rain will taper off for my run this evening.

    Hey BMo3
I bought red, which is back ordered. I would never order white, and i'll tell you why. recently i was on a ride and had to take off my under layer because i was so hot. if i was wearing a white bra, i would not have had the nerve to strip down to it in public. instead i had my red and black straightjacket bra on so i felt quite sporty and stripped without feeling nekkid at all.

With feral cats, one must learn to interact with them so they don't feel like you're trying to eat them. When they finally start acting like kittens around you, it is a great day indeed. (and mine are finally doing that)

I haven't eaten a lot of those flavored things. DH buys all sorts of stuff for his 100 mile rides. He's going to AZ to do a 100 km ride with some folks he met on Bike Journal.

I am having a better day. A little sleep goes A LONG way.
