I call them coffee shop caps. I think the jist is that you can snap 'em on to run into a coffee shop for a cuppa during a ride! I use them on my Speedplay X-2 cleats; can't live without them!

Wow, I didn't know that either. If I think about it, I have always walked on my cleats without those. Who knew.
