    autumn outing

    I do not post here very often anymore...no horrible reason just trying to avoid the "guilts" at work for not doing what I should be...I do however continue to lurk and absorb all the wonderful stories and accomplishments! (in the evening...hehe) Well done girls...now to share my views from this last weekend...

    Thanks for those beautiful shots! My mother went up to her mountain property (Ashe county, NC) this weekend and said that the leaves were just stupendous this year. From your photos, I can see that she was not kidding. Even here in central NC, the trees are getting awfully pretty!

    I might just come up your way...

    Utah is my favorite place for riding and hoping to talk some TE ladies into next year either doing The Skinny Tire Festival out of Moab in March or LAGBRAU in September. You will not see prettier scenary anywhere and the roads in Utah are meant for riding, clean, in good repair and no traffic. The State is desolate, but beautiful.

    Here are some photos from my trip to the homeland (Crested Butte). Trail 401 is a must-do, and offers something different every month in the progression from spring flowers to summer corn lily and cow parsnip 4 feet high slapping your legs to amazing autumn aspen leaves. I was up there in late July.
