Y'all come visit or to stay. It's a great place to live and you can ride all year round (with the proper rain gear).

I love the "green, tan, and dead" line. My sis lives in Americus GA so I'll have to ask her if that's the color scheme there as well. I just know the heat and humidity would make me bonkers.

Wow - really some pretty places! Seattle, San Francisco area and I love Zurich. Was in Zurich two years ago - next time I go I'll make sure I have a bike. Will be in San Francisco next October - hope I can go biking there too, but don't think I could keep up with Veronica's group!

I've noticed a lot of rides here seem to include a water feature, as do mine. I often include a stop on the boardwalk to check on the ocean conditions. Here is Saturday's ocean report - taken about 1 mile from my house. I feel very lucky to have this view once in a while. But sometimes it's more like the 2nd pic.

Salsa - I will make it a point to snap a pic of our lovely "fall" foilage tomorrow for your viewing pleasure.

Looking at these pics, I really wanted to visit Veronica cuz that tree pic is amazing; then seeing Switzerland made me realize how much I miss Germany. Then the ocean shots got me itching to go to the beach.......

I really need to win the lottery soon.........

Great pics. Beautiful scenery. I'll just be posting some neighborhood pics when I get them made, I'm afraid. Oh well! Until I get away from the nabe, they'll have to do!

I checked with my sister in Americus, and she laughed like hell at your description, and then said you left out the fourth foliage color in Georgia--the four colors are green, tan, dead, or under water (guess you guys got some serious rain the other day).
