I think I'll make my milage goal of just over 3000 miles this year. It will be a stretch, though.
Sadly, my more interesting goals will have to wait until next year. I was going to finish my bike tour and ride from more-or-less Sioux City IA to home this spring but Younger Daughter's graduation got in the way of that.
DH & I were also going to ride the Katy Trail across Missouri, but getting Younger Daughter to college delayed that plan at least a year.
(As for all of the above: As my Dad would say it's cheaper than bail. Frankly, I'm not too sure...
)
Ah well, there's always next year, and I don't think the trails are going anywhere. I've even heard rumors that the Katy Trail might be extended. I like rumors like that.
Climbing goals: I just have resolved to point my big ol' bike at more hills. I refuse to keep track, though, just knowing the raw miles is enough.
Give big space to the festive dog that make sport in the roadway. Avoid entanglement with your wheel spoke.
