The people at my REI are starting to think I am nuts, I'm sure. I suspect they think I am hoarding gels.

Last month I went to stock up late at night, right before they closed. When I got to the register and dumped the pile of gels and beans (they don't have bloks ) on the counter, the woman asked how I was doing. I answered "hungry!" but much to my dismay, she didn't get the joke. Here I was trying to be funny...

When they start to recognize you, you know you're in trouble. I'm waiting for one of them to ask me how the gels taste so I can describe the texture, it always makes people make this disgusting Mr Yuk face.
