    If you have the pedal I think you do, those platforms are removable so you have double sided pedals. You can keep them so if you want to put them back (say you want to ride in regular shoes one day).

    I have a girlfriend who swims ( a LOT) and uses gloves with webbed fingers specifically made for swimming. Looks like Creature from the Black Lagoon hands, but she loves them! She swims against the current in one of those small current-producing pools whatever they call them...
