After having my husband's friend diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer because he waited too long to seek treatment (sadly, he knew something was wrong but was in between jobs, had no health insurance so waited until he got a new job with insurance to be tested), I was so hoping you would not face anything that grim.

Didn't you say that your sister was diagnosed as well? How is she? Does she have to have surgery as well?
