OK, at first I didn't like him, then he turned out to be not quite the a$$ I thought he was, then I dated him and then we were very close friends for the next twenty years and then finally, two years ago, I married him. Guess I'm either a slow learner or just really, really careful??

I have decided there is no such thing as romantic love. Just "miserable" and "slightly less miserable." Or maybe "miserable in a different way."

Yeah, there was a run of people there for a few posts telling how long they had been together with their Various Others. (I was even one of them!) Re-reading it en masse it was *just too much*.
