I took the Bike friday, snice I have deemed my current light on the Cannondale insuffiecent.
Had too many close calls, and almost went down after hitting a rock.
I'm going to try a different route tomorrow.

Did my first ever group ride. I hadn't been able to do any due to time constraints. Anyways, it was windy as crap (24mph), the coldest day yet due to a cold front, and a few showers popping up in the area. well, I showed up and was going to just do the slow group today (different groups from 12-16mph). Well, the weather scared off all the slower riders and we were left with only the fast group (normally 20+ riders, today 6). Stayed with them for the first 18miles, doing my best drafting, then when they did a sprint I couldn't go with them. All in all I did 24miles averaging 17mph! I can do that speed for about 10miles usually, but not that far. Guess the drafting during the first section helped.

Took my first road ride after my century. My legs felt like lead, still, even though I felt fine before the ride. Probably should not have done that mtb ride on Tuesday or run on the treadmill yesterday...
15.6 miles, av 15.1, time/speed around 1.5 minutes slower than usual.
Saturday we have a 50 mile charity ride. I should hit my goal for the year Saturday or Sunday!

DH and I did a beautiful 13 mile ride this morning, took time off from work to do it before the rainy afternoon predicted for later. Bought some tomatoes and peaches at the farm stand along the way, stopped for latte in town before climbing the last hill home.
Life was so good to us on this day.

I love my DH, I love my bike!
