    TE Sister, Surgery Today

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I know many of you are aware, because you have posted on the "Health Issues" forum, but for those who don't know, one of our members, Pam (bcipam) is having surgery for colon cancer today. Needless to say, she is concerned and appreciates the thoughts and prayers of all of you. She is a great cyclist, both road and mountain, and she can't wait to get back on the bike. You can check out her thread under Health Issues, "Update on my surgery".

    Thanks to all,
    Nina

Me too. Usually that kind of cancer can be stopped. With Bicam's stamina she should do fine. Of course, we will want updates and progress reports. Tough times for many people- I have 4 friends now who have cancer.

Thanks for the update, I have been thinking about Pam as my own father completed his chemo for colon cancer.

Sending out positive and compassionate thoughts! My dad had colon cancer about 13 years ago, and was completely cured, no recurrences.

Poor Pam! I had no idea! (I don't tend to read the health forum either.) May her surgery be successful, her hospital stay be short and her recovery from surgery be swift.

Sending good karma, and hopes for a very quick recovery and as little discomfort as possible.
