WOW! This is right up there with the Alaskan grizzly bear story. I'm thinking "evil mutant nazi attack squirrel of death WITH RABIES"! But since the guy lived to write the tale, I guess the squirrel was just demented from panic.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
