It took me awhile to be able to 'seat' the Diva cup properly, but one thing I found that worked for me was to sit on the toilet, make sure whatever I was wearing was down around my ankles so I could open my knees wide (sorry to be so graphic) and then I'd take a deep breath to kind of relax myself and put the folded cup in about halfway....let it open and push it all the way in (while breathing and relaxing
), and then do the old finger around the rim to make sure it opened.
I have a severly tilted uterus (sp?) and when I sit I sometimes leak a little, so I wear a panty liner during the heaviest part of my period and that seems to suffice.
I think the Diva cup is great. I just wish I had known about it years ago. Ah..they money I would of save could of bought me a ...well at least a really nice jersey.
