Happy New Year, all! I've always felt that this is a good time to start the new year. Much better than Jan. 1. And now that my sister and her family are Jewish, we get to celebrate it!

    !

    Peace to all, Patty
Thank you - I will take that personally!
We had a nice meal in the Dining Room and tonight at sunset a Women's Circle down by the fish pools with a tashlich (We symbolically threw a stone into the pool for something we wanted to rid ourselves of/let go from the year just ended). Then we released balloons with a wish for the coming year
Even had a shofar/ram's horn (just like in California Reform synagogues!)
I was there with DD (17) who managed the fire and the herbal tea which was another positive dimension to it all for me as she won't even light Shabbat candles these days.
    Shana tova to you all

All you need is love...la-dee-da-dee-da...all you need is love!
