    Smile So jealous....

JuJu, I adore my "bleached celeste" Eros Donna, but the Veloce in celeste is just as gorgeous. And I love the Campy wheels! Too cool! Your bike is even smaller than mine. My riding friends call mine "the itty bitty green machine."

Happy riding. That's great that you snagged an '05 with the triple. My biggest reservation (other than fit) about the '06 Veloce was the compact crank. My LBS neglected to tell me that they could have possibly gotten there hands on an '05. Hmmmmmm.

Thanks everyone. And of course today it's raining, and rain and t-storms forecast throughout the day. But...this gives me a day to hunt down a computer for Prof Sprout.

And we are the last of the Veloce girls, since they have discontinued it this year. I wonder why ... I always thought it was one of their most popular steel road bikes. I have never seen an Imola on the road, for instance, and I've only seen one Vigorelli, and the bike shop always has those left over after the Veloces have all sold. Now the Eros is the only steel bike they sell with Campy.

That really is too bad, Xeney. I know the Veloces sold well at my LBS, too. In fact, that's one reason I put mine on layaway back around late July/early August--it was the last one from 2005. Probably only still around because it's so small, but just right for me! And look how popular that model is here on this board--many of the Bianchi girls here are Veloce girls, too.

It's the end of an era--glad I got in on it while I could.

    "Sprout"

I love it. I may just have to co-opt that name for my own itty bitty green bike.

Co-opt away, indy! But personally I think "itty bitty green machine" has a certain appeal of its own. Or how about Teeny Weeny Green Machine-y!
