You should come out to a local race -- they're so much fun for spectators. The first local one is October 8th at Hellyer Park in San Jose.

BTW, can someone tell my why my photos didn't appear in my post (only the urls)?

To get a picture to show up you need to use Attach Files under Additional Options.

Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiement. The more experiments you make the better. What if they are a little coarse, and you may get your coat soiled or torn? What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice? Up, again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble.

Hmmm.....did you notice the option to edit posts is gone? Part of the upgrade? I swear I attached photos, but I used the URL instead of uploading it from my pc. Oh well. I still have to look at that dorky photo you uploaded.

I think I inserted an image instead of attached it. Now isn't that bizarre?

    Let's see if this works.

I'm planning on going. Should be a lot of fun and a shorter drive than last weekend from SF. Can't wait until the BA series starts.

Kim's going too. I'm coaching a clinic all weekend so I won't be there. And next week I'm riding down the coast so I can't race either. My next race will be Hellyer on Oct 8th.

    Erin,

I'm going to try to make it out there and I'll cheer you on.

Being a newbie race attendee, is there anything I should know? Is there admission for spectators?

ERIN!!! Whoa girl, you look great on that bike! VG's right -- you look like a total natural. VG -- you look like you're having a blast, too. Way cool.

Have fun racing you guys! (I gotta try this cyclocross thing....)
