Deb, I think older son was trying to explain that to me, but i was still very impressed. he also told me that his bike had a lower gear than my other son (the one who went over 28mph) BECAUSE he is not strong enough! We did two 20 mile rides yesterday, with barely an hour rest between them. About 40 miles total, and lots of hills on the second ride. My thighs are pretty sore today.
So, I did a 3 mile walk this morning in the cool fog- very refreshing and good to stretch out and sort of shake out all my sore muscles in a different way today.
