    Do people still eat Powerbars?

    Gosh when we first started riding in the late 80s, you would keep your PowerBars in the leg of your shorts so they would soften up. That way you wouldn't break a tooth when you ate them.

    Sad to say, but I still eat them. Not that I think they taste good or anything, but at least I know that they won't give me stomach cramps if I eat one before a race.

    My triathlete crush, Peter Reid, was sponsored by Power bars. He certainly talked them up. I, however, have eaten them. And not even Peter Reid can get me to do that on a regular basis!
