That is funny. We paid for the food. It was 450. 00 a person for 6 nights of lodging and food. We did all the maid service! I have one photo of her after the ride. She has all the good one's of her bruises. You can kinda see one on her arm here. And her knee's were pretty bad too.

WOW!!! such an epic trip for all of you! Thank you for the story and the pics...I have been wondering what it might be like, sounds like training is important! Would you recommend it for just 2 people...or a group (including a doctor...hehe) would be better?

We have been talking about a tour for our honeymoon (it is gonna be a anniversary trip if we don't stop spending money on bike stuff and home improvements) This looks like a challenge to embark upon!

....haha...that pic of you friend is priceless...she does NOT look like a happy camper Hope for you she does not find this site!

Amazing trip--thanks for sharing the story and the photos with us. I wonder whether you feel a trip like this changed you in any way?

I would recommend it for two the problem is they might fill it with 6 people you don't know. That is why we tried to fill the spaces with all people we know. So the two of you could go but the likelyhood (did I spell that right) of you two having it all to yourself... well? It is a risk you will have to take. I would rather have a bunch of people I know.
I hope my friend doesn't see this either. I am luckly she is even still my friend at this point.

And training is very important with this one! A lot of dirt and gravel riding is recommended by me big time. And if altitude is an issue try riding up hill breathing through a straw. lol! That's what it is like.

She is still speaking to me thank god! I called to check on her today. Her husband said she is looking at the trip in a different light now. Bad news about my friend with ms though. He has not been able to get out of bed for 3 days now. The bike ride really took a lot out of him. Please send some good vibes he's way....
