Occupation: Try not to work... 2/3 of the way through my phd... would be a student forever if finances allowed... previous life computer programmer... major meltdown material after 10 years... has taken me years to get back on computers and this is the only forum i've ever looked at... but now contributing and that's progress

What's in your stable? Crx4 and trusty Giant Elwood (hybrid)

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? Major chicken here... max is 40kph ... scared i'll fall off and hurt myself...

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: God i dont know... did i mention my memory sucks? most common lie is "that's fine" when it's really not

Most memorable moment on my bike: My first ride on my (then new) Elwood. Made it into the city and back... couldnt believe i could ride that far and not die ... given i'm unfit and overweight.

Most fun ever had on a bike? So far.... an unbelievably quick ride home one summer's evening (earlier in the year)... it was like i was unstoppable .
