It is called the San Juan hut tour. google san juan huts. They provide a not so good map as well as the huts. Which are stocked every 18th person
    you can have 8 people.
It is I think $450. a person, for 7 days 6 nights. It is a bunk bed situation, very nice. They had matts that were about 5 inches thick. And there was beer and wine! Best beer's I have ever had!

Brandi, it sounds like an incredible adventure. Sorry your friend was so ill-prepared. Glad you found her a way to get out after that crash. I think I've read on these boards about "schools" for mountain biking. I would really need that before such an adventure! You and your friends got to see part of the country that most of us never will. How incredibly cool. And your hubby is really cute!

Brandi, I don't think I can add anything to the comments other folks have made, but I do want to thank you for posting the description and pics of the trip. I'm glad you had such a great time in such a gorgeous place!
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."
