    Chain Problem After Fixing Flat

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I changed a flat in my back tire last week, for the first time unassisted, and ever since then, my chain wants to jump around. Sometimes it even comes off. I assume it's because of something I did when I put the wheel back on, but I have no idea what to look for!

    help?

Check to make sure the hub axles are completely seated in the dropouts.

Yes, fully back in the dropouts. Check that the tire is centered between the chainstays and between the seatstays before you close the quick release.
Oil is good, grease is better.
