Hi and welcome. Glad you decided to post and say hello.
When I commute on the bike it is a 28 mile round trip and with no shower at work. In the morning, after arriving (like today) I do the usual, take the infamous 'MCshower' (ie towelettes, wipes, a little fresh water, etc) and get on with the day. There are a couple of riders in my building so nobody does a double take when you walk around in cleats and spandex
I bet you can do this commute, just plan ahead, maybe take some clothes to work when you drive in, and you'll be set.
Hope to see your post in the daily ride section![]()
I too commute to school three days a week weather permitting. I do not have shower facilities so like others I make do with what I do have. I keep soap, towel, deodorant, comb, etc in my closet. I've found it best to wait 5 - 10 minutes after arriving at school to start the transformation from biker to teacher.
I too, am a non-shower person. Er...at work anyway!![]()
I agree with Makbike, a five or ten minute cool down/transition from biker chick to drafter helps a lot!
Congrats on deciding to bike in a few times a week!

me too! 4 mile commute downhill and flats to work. It's cooler in the morning.
now going home, I seriously sweat going back up the hill in the hottest part of the day.
