    I Won the Trek Project One Design Contest!!!!!

    I got a call yesterday, "Hi this is Derek from Trek Bikes in Waterloo, Wisconsin... and I'm happy to tell you we selected the design you submitted for the Fuel EX Project One design contest... Get yourself fitted and we'll send you a frame with your design in about six weeks..."

    I can not believe it. Pinch me.

    Yes. "Project One" is Trek's custom paint option. You can choose from a palette of designs and colors. This design will be available for 2007 bikes. It will probably be available for the Madone road bike too.

    DH showed me this pic the other night, though it's a different color. Someone posted it on RBR. I think it's totally cool how the seat tube is like the trunk and the branch comes right out of it. Great job!

    Wow! Thanks Steph. I had no idea they had built one up! I sent four color options: Pink/Pink, Green/Red, Purple as shown, and Blue/Blue. It is so cool to see my design in paint!!!
