Laura, that's EXACTLY how I felt when I got on a bike for the first time in 37 years 2 1/2 months ago! I love the way you put it. I felt like I was back in time, but this time **I** was in control, and my spirit was FREE!!!! Total joy- it was like a spiritual moment for me, coming HOME safe to my child spirit.
