Summer and Winter riding are two different things. In winter I usually do a road and a MTB ride on the weekend. The road ride is usually 35 - 40 miles the MTB ride around 10 - 15.

During the summer I can also ride during the week. MTB rides are usually 8 - 10 and road, depending on when I get on the bike, 15 - 30. Sometimes, especiialy early summer I can do an 40 miler.

In the winter when I'm limited to weekend rides, I do a spin class 2 - 3 times a week.

I'm like bcipam in that I do slightly different things in summer and winter.

    In summer:

Twice a week: Road bike commute, one 45 one 38 mile round
    trip
One social mtb evening ride of 12-15 miles - hilly
One longer mtb ride, up to 35 miles, very hilly
Also try to fit in a couple of short runs, some climbing and core/weight work.

In winter: One 38 mile commute
Still 2 MTB rides, though midweek one becomes less social
    paced
Will be picking up my running this winter and finding a yoga
    class
    Weights and climbing (indoors).

Reading that its no wonder I'm knackered, done sod all in August really no motivation, not helped by the fact that it seems to have rained for the whole of August and is continuing into September Still got a weeks MTB holiday in Spain next week

SadieKate - will pop over to Bike Journal, see if that helps me get my Mojo back!

    Los Osos

Was that local? My DH and I like to spend time in Cambria. We would love to find some trails up there.
