I use GNC's 100% whey protein powder in either chocolate or french vanilla.

    I use this one:

We like their chocolate and vanilla. I've been wanting to venture out and try other flavors but I don't want to buy a big tub and possibly end up not liking it.

Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

I know! They should be like the Spirutein, and come in tiny 1x packs to try 'em, then you can make the commitment and buy 5lbs. =D

I like anything that has a lot of vitamins and minerals with it; I tend to forget my multivites in the morning, so putting a scoop or two on my cereal is a workable replacement.

No brands for you, though, but I'm really liking whey protein. I think it mixes better than soy, but it might be a matter of the brands, too.

    EXACTLY

The only trial size packs I've found around here are actual MRP's and I don't want that - just the protein, dangit!

I like Vitamin World's house brand of vanilla whey protein. I would like to try chocolate, but the vanilla is so versatile for smoothies with fruit and such, and I even put it on my cereal (along with milk), and I can't think of nearly as much to do with the chocolate so have not bought it.

well, right now we have a tub o chocolate from designer protein which is pretty good. don't know where my husband got it. we also have a tub of trader joe's vanilla whey not opened yet. eager to see how it is. finally I have some soy at work that i'm not so fond of. I agree the soy is not as good, at least this brand isn't . it is a lot more clumpy in texture and taste.

Let us know your vedict on Trader Joe's Vanilla Whey. I shop there all the time, but did not want to buy a tub of it to discover I did not like it. I have used Designer and liked it fine. GNC is about the same, slightly smoother (it was on sale, so I switched brands) I am getting very low, so I will be buying more soon.
