ok don't know what kind of adivce GF would give you but when my hair was short, and i mean whoa man short, this is what i would do:

part it off to the side about and inch and put a bobby pin or a cute little barrett (i know not tough girl here, but hear me out. we're going to get you a good job) on the side that has more hair. so if you part it on the left, pin it on the right. follow me here? then take some gel and scrunch the back of your hair so that it has texture but not super spikey. or blowdry it to give it some body. kinda like the picture but add a little pin to it.

Knotted- Yeah, the red spikes are back, but the red's mostly grown out, so I'm going to re-henna it again. The spikes are sorta growing out, so I can get away with what Chick is suggesting, if I'm determined. Not enough for a bobby pin, but if I get it while it's wet, it *should* stay that way.
Those pics are nice- I <3 your biceps. Sadly, though, no amount of searching anywhere is going to find my missing boobs.

Chick- Thanks for the help. That's actually probably what DGF is going to do to me, if I don't do it to myself. I'd wear the spikes to the interview, but I'm afraid to breathe or sneeze wrong.

Take note: this is the ONE thing in life that will have me looking at my wardrobe and saying those words I tease DGF about SO much:
"I don't have anything to wear!!!"

I sneezed this morning and something popped in my upper back. Made me freeze for a minute until things calmed down. Now it's just a little sore.

I never have back problems. Does this mean I'm getting old?

I just slept funny.....that must be it.

    sneeze

Beta...you're not getting old.... I'm sure as you mentioned, it's probably just from sleeping funny...

Are you off to work dear? How long is your commute? How are the squirrels??? I'd send you cool things to hear in the morning like a kookabura but not sure how to catch one...

I feel so lonely when i come here at night...you ladies are asleep...

    Oh...excitement...spring is closer...it's light at 530pm!!!!! It's getting a bit warmer...it was 20+ today...cool...

NOt so cool is the thought of commuting home in 30c...(new post idea for the commuting section)

I had a freaky moment today with a rather large crow sitting on a bike ramp railing I was walking up on my way to work..He was cawwwing right beside me & we both looked at eachother and caught eyes...weird....I think you had to be there...

I'm off to bed, good night ladies and have a great day.

Yes - I get lots of honey.

Yes - I am spending your money (indirectly) but on equipment to help make bees more disease resistant. And, uh, bike clothes - well that comes from the salary which also indirectly comes from you, but it IS money well spent.

I was thinking this morning about what I'll call the kids here. Pupae just isn't going to cut it.

Beta - wet socks do not sound like fun!

CC - thanks for the roses!

Kit - I totally agree that you need to call in sick and go to that interview! Good luck with the interview hair. That is always a challenge.

Now - I get to shop This is going to be a fun day!

    Later ladies!
