Saddle comparison - Aspide Glamour with ?

i had that SM Aspide Glamour and sent it back. my sit bones never got better. the terry damselfly is the same dimentions that the Aspide Glamour is and has a bit more padding for the sit bones. i just got my damselfly last week and so far i love it.

Hmm Im a little confused because I just ordered the Aspide Glamour and it has no cut out. Do you think yours was the Aspide Aero or did they do a Glamour with a cutout that I just havent seen?

Yep know about the Terry Butterfly I had one of these and it didnt work for me. I just sent it to a friend in PA, Im hoping it will work better for her.

I tried the Blackwell Flow. It was nice and narrow in the nose, cushy without being poofy or too big, the cut out was not irritating- but the seat was just a teeny bit too narrow for me. I rode it a month, though, up to about 45 miles, but then switched it out for the Vitesse when I had a 200k. I wish BF would try it- it's really a mens saddle, though Blackwell Research says it's their saddle that women like best.

Right now I'm trying the 2005 Zero X. It's very firm. I'm not sure yet...

I have the Aspide Glamour (it arrived about a week ago) and it has no cutout (see link below). I think the confusion is caused by the fact that the Aspide Aero is pretty similar and it does have a cutout. Im afraid the Glamour doesnt work for me too wide and caused rubbing on the back of my thigh after only a short ride. I think I will stick with my Atola. I thought it was a little narrow but maybe that is what works best for me.

If I hadn't just bought 2 Butterfly saddles, I think I would have tried this one. It's as wide as the Butterfly, but longer, and not as padded.

You know I think I did read somewhere that the Glamour also came in an arrowhead but I could never find it listed on the San Marco Site just the Aspide Aero, the Glamour Aspide and the Glamour Aspide Gelaround. I like the look of the Arrowhead but (if its the same as the other Glamour) its unfortunately too wide for me. I guess I will sell my Glamour its a shame as its a nice looking saddle and comfy except for the rubbing at the back. LOL if I keep going this way I will soon have worked my way thru the entire SSM range.

So it's not actually the sit bone area that is too wide but the angle at the back of your thigh? We were thinking that that angle looked better than most saddles we had seen lately. I really like a saddle with a sharp, almost 90 degree, angle there so it doesn't rub the back of my thighs.

I don't know what the silhouette of the Arrowhead is like compared to the others.
