    anxious and excited

Today was check in day for Sunday's Iron Girl triathlon. So now it's real. I got my numbers (still have to figure out how to attach the number to the belt, since the holes are too small and I don't have a hole punch) and the swag bag (wicking t-shirt, water bottle, key ring, baby luna bar, aquaphor sample, sunscreen sample, two Her Sports magazines, etc.). Tomorrow is bike racking day.

I keep fighting the urge to take one more bike ride or one more run. But since I haven't had a day off the bike in 2 weeks, I think it's time to give my legs a rest.

Anyway, just wanted to share my anxiety with someone. Now I'm going to read about how not to let the anxiety get to you on race day in the May/June issue of Her Sports.

Good luck to LynneK & Brina on Sunday!

I can just about guarantee that I'm not going to want to memorialize my extremely slow time, but it's a nice idea...I like the "beginner triathlete" bracelet.

Best of luck to you tomorrow!!!!! We'll all be thinking of you! You're going to do GREAT and have so much fun, that your time won't even matter at all. The first one is just about enjoying the experience and having a good time! Take many mental pictures, then come back here and tell us all about it!!!
