I call it the church of the outdoors.

(Sometimes if I'm doing an event, I'll call it the church of racing, the church of running, last week was the church of triathlon, and so on...)

I get the same spiritual feeling in the Colorado Rockies, in beautiful cathedrals, and in dark, quiet movie theaters. LOL

The thing about Episcopalians is we bless everything -- I think I need to get Dinah (my bike) blessed. Maybe she won't throw me again! (Hmm, maybe what she really needs is an exorcism?)

When I was growing up, the Catholic kids would take their bikes to the priest to be blessed. Nobody wore helmets then, so I guess that was their way of practicing safe cycling.
