Grammar question: Don't you think there should be a comma between "Veloci" and "my"? Amici Veloci, my axe - ??? Call Lynne Truss, I must know.

Don't feel bad Kim, I thought the same thing when I set up my whatchamacallit line, which is why I put the space between the e and the "!"

Is comma underuse as bad as comma overuse?

Actually, I have no idea whether a comma is required or not, that's why I asked The Grammar Queen. I always say it with a pause after "Amici Veloci", so assumed a comma was appropriate.

I think apostrophe abuse is a much more serious offense than comma misuse... unfortunately I'm guilty of both, and more. My big problem is what punctuation goes inside of a quote vs. outside - the rule doesn't make any sense to me (so I ignore it).

Back to the ride, I will be bringing the Kuh-Nobby, since a 30x34 sounds lovely for a long climb.
