Carrie loves knickers, and is always hunting the perfect pair like I am. I think she hopes to find a light pair for sun protection.

Uh, I don't think those will be a light pair for sun protection -- I expect them to be a fleeced, roubaix-style fabric. They are made out of thermolite, which is pretty warm stuff. I should know better next week as I ordered a pair up for myself to fill out my fall cycling gear, along with the Goiz jersey to match (couldn't resist the ensemble, I am a sucker for a sharp look). Cari would be better off investigating the Bera knicker in the Etxe Ondo line, it is straight lycra, so it would give her the sun protection without the added warmth.

I found a pair of Sugois or Shebeest knickers at LLBean. The chamois is "lite"---probably not intended for longer rides. Those ones at Terry are sweet, but in anticipation of the too-quickly approaching cold weather riding, I just purchased a pair of "wicked expensive" LG tights from TE. Therefore, I'm trying to be a good girl.

The new Colorado cyclist catalog has the Etxeondo stuff in it. Its not up on their web-site yet though. The Marra Tight is really cool looking but 159.99 and the matching Rox Jersey is 174.99. Yikes

The thing I don't like about the Terry website is they don't show what the chamois is like. Unlike TE which shows a piccy of the chamois with excellent description. I took a guess on my first purchase from Terry on a pair of knickers, and they were a very nice garment. BUT the chamois was awful, really bulky and uncomfortable. They sent me a catalogue in the order and they put illustrations and descriptions of the chamois in there which was very helpful, after the fact. This chamois was called 'seamless'. Anyway, I sent them back for an exchange, which was a shame because other than the chamois, they were a really nice pair of knickers. I've got a Falcon X saddle coming...

I don't like that Terry doesn't show the chamois, either. But I _do_ like that they have brand names, unlike Title 9. I can't even stand to look at that catalog.

I wonder what Exte Ondo TE is going to get in???

Those pistachio knickers are calling out to me...
