Sometimes it's like: SLEEP NOW!, because I have a couple of hours' window of opportunity. If I'm at the hospital, and know that I can sleep for an hour, I can usually fall sound asleep. But if I'm home, and trying to sleep prior to a call shift, just in case I'm up all night, it's tough.
I have the same problems, Lise! Funny when you read about getting help sleeping, the advise is always to go to bed at the same time every night....HA!!! This is the 24/7 world (well, with your job it's always been a 24/7 world).
Sometimes I wish I'd been born rich instead of so good looking....then I wouldn't have work and could sleep soundly every night on my yacht or in my mountain cabin.....ahhh....
