Review: Chaco Arturo sandals

I love Chacos, so I was thrilled to find out they make a closed-toe leather fisherman sandal that I could wear at work.

They are men's, and only come in men's sizes. (Yo, Chaco, how 'bout some closed toes for women?) The smallest is a men's 7. I wear a women's 9 in Chacos, so I sprang for the men's 7. 7 fits fine, 8 would've been too big.

The footbed feels like my others, just as comfy and supportive. The sole is less agressive, but still non-slip. These can be resoled, too. They are much lighter than my (older) Z1 and Z2.

Now lets talk about leather... The footbed is lined with the most gorgeous soft leather. Mmmmmmmm. Spectacular! The upper is also very soft leather. No breaking in required!

These look professional, even on my feet. No problem wearing these to work.

Oooh, I like. Wish my husband would wear something like that, but he wouldn't. Tevas he likes, but any closed-toed sandals (except Keen) he has repeatedly rejected. Too bad - they're purty! (I'd wear 'em if they came in women's sizes...)
