tprevost... I am tentatively planning on getting back to some serious training with all that entails (hill repeats... ugh) when I get home... as to Australia... yeah, this will give me almost 2 weeks to heal. And none of the water activities (white water rafting the Tully River and snorkeling the GBR) come until the 2nd week of the trip. We ARE doing a walkabout of the Blue Mountains but I'll be totally fine for that. Don't worry... next year I plan on riding plenty again... I'm sure by then I'll be working to keep up with you!
fishdr... no... I'm going with my best friend... she's a walker... does 1/2 marathons etc. She and I were walking up a hill one day and I looked up and said "this would be so much easier on my bike"... we both had a laugh after that... and she slowed down!
LOL She does not ride tho... has an ancient bike that I've offered to help get running... but no interest so far...
