I just bought a Waterford! Sight unseen!

(but I got it from Limewave, so that's ok, right?)

Can't actually get it until December, cuz it's in Michigan. I'll pick it up when I'm in the midwest around Christmas.

(wanna see it? it's in the "for Sale" thread. I'll try to post a link)

Poor Lise - all those fireworks, and no action
    Keep calm and carry on...

Danger Mouse is cute - although I'm still partial to the toad lugging the tequila, my favourite drink.

CC - I have MSN - I added you. I've been using Skype lately so I can chat with my DD who just moved to Vancouver. It's a very cool program.
You can find out what funny accents all these Americans have. 'Course you probably have one too since you live down there. Mine, of course, is completely normal, eh.. Just don't ask me to say "about"

Nanci - This is our first batch of gewurztraminer. I'll let you know how it turns out. The good thing is DH will drink anything so if I don't like it, I get the good stuff from the liquor store and he drinks the home brew. That being said, we don't actually "home" brew - we make it at a Wine Shop. That means, I go in and order it, and 6-8 weeks later, we spend an hour bottling it. It costs about 1/3 of store bought wine.

Sorry that your daughter smokes - darn kids are always a worry, even when they are adults. My DD's will be 21 and 23 this fall. They are being good, for now, but one of them put me thru hell during her teens... I'm a lttle worried about the 20 year old who just moved to the big city with her boyfriend. She's got a good head on her shoulders so I think she'll be ok...

Housework - must do some today. You can always tell when I've been spending my time outside - this week it is landscaping. Oldest DD politely suggested I vacuum yesterday. I politely suggested that she lives here too (rent free!!!!) and is welcome to do it herself. She said they are not her dogs (dog hair-the reason we need to vacuum). Her little brother, bless his heart, asked her if she could please clean up her hair in bathroom because it clogs up the sink and tub drains.

I need to ride my bike but the allen blocks are calling....

No, we don't need WaterCooler boy in thread drift. He's being icky. We don't need little stories about some dude masterbating a dog.

If that thread stays, after my sig in support of equal rights got in trouble, I'll be mighty appalled.

I hit the spam alert. Ick. We don't need boys playing testosterone games here.

Meanwhile, back to happily humming over my new Waterford bike. Already thinking of names for her... (yup, I'm silly)

You think it's a guy posting? It looks like a girl's picture and s/he started the "Who started you on biking" thread as well... Regardless, it's gross...

What the hell are you talking about???? What thread about a dog? About a water cooler??

Just back from 30 mile ride. Have errands to run, like getting SS things that have to go far away- she'll probably get them for Christmas, SORRY! I tried to do better this month, I really did...But I need a nap. BF is working till 11PM. I wish I had a good movie to watch. Maybe just some Gray's Anatomy Season One for the fourth time.

Whaaa....? Jeez, you sleep 5 hours, run 7 miles, eat some crepes, go to Target, and TE goes berzerk! I'll go check out this thread, if it still exists.
    .....................
And yes, BZ, much fireworks. No action. But I'm such a north sider...I didn't see much eye candy at the Sox game. Only a Chicagoan could get that, and a south sider would henceforth never speak to me again. I'm banking on no south side Chicago gals here....or...yikes!

snap - good luck. i'm sure you'll find out soon about the upgrade. until then dont forgit to BREATH! i think we should just get together for a drink, i'm sure that would make it lots better!

fish - with gov't travel have they cracked down on you with what you can take? we keep getting emails adding to the addional things we can or can not do with regular restrictions. by the time i travel again, it will be completely different. glad i live in the bush, no airport security here. going anywhere else, i dread it.

nanci - go back and buy all the wine you can. i was really jealous reading about it, so i think you should go back and enjoy more for me too. (and i have no idea about this water cooler thing either.)

crazycanuck - i added you on hotmail. i don't use it much, more yahoo, but i added you.

phew! i think i caught up on everything. if not. oh well....

Nanci - it's in Open Topic, about 8 or 9 down right now. 34 views, 0 replies (Thank goodness. don't reply. that's what trolls want). very disgusting. I'm amazed Jeff hasn't nuked it already. Will more folks hitting the spam alert get it removed sooner?

Man, and look at all the flack from my sig "Gay rights don't threaten my marriage, it's those straight women sleeping with my husband." That was from a New Yorker cartoon, fer goodness sakes. Meanwhile that nasty man-masterbates-dog post keeps sailing along....

EEEWW!! Well, I would really hate to be sensored, and I think we do a good job of not causing that to happen, (except for your sig- that was weird) but that dog story, out of nowhere?

    TROLL!!

It's not like buying two more bottles of really great wine is going to kill me...There were only one more of each on the shelf...Probably should taste them first, but I've NEVER met a dessert wine I didn't love. Not like- love.

I am so weak...I am going to buy the Zero X right this second if it is still on sale.

    Bye!
