In general I'm very self conscious of my body and my inflexibility, so yoga terrified me! But our gym had a contest where you had to participate in a yoga or pilates class once a week during the holiday season and if you attended all of them you would get a month free, so I started going and loved it. You forget that other people are around you because you are so focused on what you are doing. I felt calm and relieved after my session, so it works great for stress relief.
