Jersey Question for person with 40DD

I'm having difficulties finding a jersey that fits my boobs! I wear a 40DD and haven't found anything listed online that says will fit. Can anyone help me out?

I was a 38DD this winter and I used Canari jerseys, the kind without any elastic hems and had a decent amount of room. They taper nicely in the waist and then flare out at the hip. Very flattering fit.

Unless your tummy is broader than your chest, look for jerseys with a feminine, curved fit -- wide at the chest, narrowing to the waist, then wide again at the hips. If you wear jerseys with a straight or boxy cut (or men's jerseys), you'll have to get a size or two larger just to fit your chest, which won't look or feel very good.

I'm somewhat large-chested and a huge fan of Shebeest's Bellissima jerseys, which have that awesome S-shaped fit that makes me look curvy, not fat:
    Ocean Wind Bellissima Jersey
    Daisy Vibe Bellissima Jersey

I'm a 36D, with a 41-41.5" chest (measured around my back and including the boobs), smallish waist and larger hips. I wear the Bellissima in a size Large, even though the sizing chart says that it fits a 38-39.5" chest. The Bellissima has a curvy fit and is made of meshy fabric that "gives". I tried an XL once, but it was huge -- it looked and felt like a very baggy t-shirt.

If you want exact measurements of other sizes, please don't hesitate to call Team Estrogen's toll free number. The women who work there are very helpful and they know their product well, so they can also suggest other brands and models that would work for your body type and measurements.

Conversely, I suggest you stay away from jerseys that have clingy fabric or a very snug fit. Shebeest's K2 and Wahini jerseys, both made of their DriStyle fabric, are very clingy and have a smaller fit than the Bellissima. I tried the K2 in an XL and even though it fit well and was very comfy, the fabric clung to my chest and back enough that you could see each little hook on the back of my bra.

    Good luck and happy shopping!

    ~Cari
