My cat sleeps with us. Actually she takes up a 1/3 of the bed. For something so tiny she certainly can stretch herself out when sleeping. Otherwise nothing is on the bed except an old Amish Quilt and an afghan my grandmother knit for me decades ago.

We just have two pillows each and two very lazy miniature schnauzers. The dogs insist on so much room we had to upsize our bed to a king! Actually it was planned since we got married because DH is 6'2" and a I am bed hog, but blaming the dogs is more fun!

I keep a couple stuffed animals on top of my dresser, they are all very sentimental to me. A stuffed pig DH bought me for our first dating anniversary, my college Mascot from my late Pawpaw, an elephant my college roommate gave me, a Rottweiler DH got me, an Eeyore from Animal Kingdom and another Teddy Bear from DH. Plus a stuffed dog lives on the floor, I got him before DH would let me get a real dog.

This makes me so sentimental. We called my Texan grandfather Paw-paw. No one uses the term here in Kahleefohnia. Sigh . . . . .

Okay, so I've gone a little too far but my bed is covered with stuffed animals. They all have names, and all have "personalities" - the collectible Grimace from McDonalds likes french fries, the ancient teddy bear likes to go on adventures, the little otter is a spy (and he usually goes in my pack when we go hiking and gets photographed at the summit), the snowman wants us to move further north, and so on.

Yes, I'm an adult. Yes, I'm married. Yes, my husband has actually picked out and even named many of them. Yes, I know I need therapy.

    Now I feel boring...

We *have* a stuffed foxy who I cuddle with sometimes, but she 'guards' the bed alcove, mostly... GF is an "active sleeper" and will simultaneously steal blankets/remove anything 'in her way' in her sleep... or wrap me up in blankets and hold me down if I'm tossing/turning too much... so our sheets have to be well-tucked and one pillow each. Every time the well-made bed is turned into a disaster area, I look at her (or vice versa) and say "This is why you can't have nice things!" Though... I think she gets to say it to me more.

who could ask for a more cuddly toy?

One Green Lion (who goes by the same name) that I caught at the Zulu parade a few years ago, and who has a big belly (comforting to put my hand on when the BF isn't there with his belly) . Green Lion was recently joined by "Kissy Kat," and of course there are the three real kitties who frequently adorn (or hog) the bed.

(Geez, I read that as "Green Loin...")

On my bed, (king-size soft-sided waterbed in a sleigh-bed frame with wrought iron flowers and leaves in the middle of the headboard) I have a quilt I made for my mom over the footboard, seven pillows for me and four for BF, usually some jammies hanging on the footboard, and BF's contribution, a (real) coyote skin- head, feet, tail and all. We call him Mr. Coyote. He lays quietly at the foot of the bed. His fur is very think and soft. My mom collected bears- I have two that I gave her that I got back when she died, but they live on a chair. I also have a few Beanie Babies here and there.

I usually get my cycling clothes out the night before. I decide by wearing something I didn't wear last time. I always wear the same shorts, unless they are in the wash.
