Ok, it looks like everyone wants the printing on the back of the shirts, so I'll do that. Not sure about doing two sided printing, but I'm sure it would be more. The quote I got was for single color single side graphics. But I will ask. I think it would be cool to have "riding for Jenny" on the front in small font.
As for the extra $$ for the large sizes? I never thought about, and I didn't see anything on there, but maybe I'm just not seeing it?? I know alot of places do charge a few dollars more for the large sizes, but I can just adjust for that when the time comes.
The family has requested that I order 73 shirts for them, so we will have a rather large order.
I'm going to go for a ride now and will work on the order later this morning. It looks like the pink and blue vnecks are popular!
    Thanks all!
    Denise
One last thing. I have gotten a couple of mesages regarding the bible verse, and I kinda expected that. This is the way I stand on it, and I hope you can respect this.
I know we are a very diverse group here, and some may feel uncomfortable with a christian bible verse on their shirt. I totally respect that and understand. However, from my discussionss with her family Jenny was a very spiritual person, and this is part of who she was. To not include the bible verse on the shirt we would be leaving off a big part of her. The family has requested it, and I have included it on the shirt. It is in a smaller font under her name, and I think looks very nice. The quote " A Woman should never be afraid to ride alone" is the focal point, and then "In Memory of Jenny Ewing" in slightly smaller font, then the proverb under that.
Hopefully I can get the coolmax rep to email me a mock up so that I can pass it on for ya'll to see.
So like I said, if you do not wish to purchase a shirt I totally understand. Perhaps you could send a donation to your favorite charity in Jenny's name.
    Thanks again.

I posted this on the Sorella site (my women's cycling club in Atlanta). We have about 85 members, so I'll try to coordinate that order and consolodate. It might be big. You just never know.

Thanks for doing all of this.

You're doing a fabulous job, RunningMommy. Thank you for being point on this -- it's a big job.

I do understand why some who are neither Jewish nor Christian might find the scripture awkward. But I agree that this is to honor Jenny and who she was.

I want an XL, probably black -- but I'm waiting until you know for sure about the print on it. I'm worried the purple won't show up on black. After you've confirmed that it will, will you post back here? Thanks!

    Proverbs

Here is the thing: I don't care if you are Muslim, Christian, Atheist, Jewish, or just plain goofy. Look up the Scripture. Consider it just a good piece of writing if you have to. I can't think of a single woman who would not want to be remembered in this way. "Her children will call her blessed" is awesome, but keep going to the end. Every sentence of 10 -31 describes her perfectly. Things I can't even begin to convey in words. SO, I understand that not all people are Christians, but this is about Jenny and there are NO better words to describe her than this. I really do understand though. I thank you all for your compassion in this matter. You all continue to amaze me. I never knew what a true "community" cyclists are. Stay safe!

Thanks Denise 223! I totally missed that!
Ok so for the larger sizes I would say just add the extra couple of dollars on and we'll be good. I'm not too worried about a couple of bucks. I just want to be sure we can make some $$ for the Sandy Springs Mission.

RM - can you change mine to a pink V-neck in a small (instead of a medium)? Thanks!

Oh, and I'm not Christian (or any religion for that matter) and while I hesitated when I saw the inclusion of scripture, I also realized that this shirt is not about me...it's about Jenny. I will wear it not to make a statement about who I am, but to make one about who she was and what she means to all of us in the cycling community.

Not to keep it going -- but it's actually not a Christian scripture -- it's Old Testament, from the Jewish book of Proverbs. So while Christians consider it ours, too -- it existed about 5,000 years before the New Testament came along!

    It's Judeo-Christian.

And I can only hope that my kids would feel that way about me. It is a beautiful image of a mother.
