Why do you have to stop riding for sweat to pour? I sweat while I'm riding!

“Hey, clearly failure doesn’t deter me!”
The great thing was how cool I felt (momentarily) when I started riding again after stopping to pee yesterday. It was about 95, I was 15 miles into a 35 mile ride, and drenched in sweat. I guess I cooled off enough to feel the wind as a nice thing on my soaking wet body! For about...2 minutes.Originally Posted by pooks

Maybe I should get into S & M, because I had begun to develop a fondness for riding in the heart of the mid-day heat - and always hills too.
I used to avoid that time like the plague, but then maybe I'm just getting old and lazy - unwilling to get up at the crack of dawn to ride at 7 am![]()
Surly hun - you KNOW I'll be here for you in the middle of winter! and Now I have Friends! (insert evil cackle here)*thinking to self, I should run out and take some pictures right now of this gorgeous blue sky and bright sunshine. Share them with Surly say in - Feb??)
and Robyn hun: AZ doesn't have that much humidity remember: it's a DRY heat! lol
Cassandra: I LOVE the heat. My preference is to ride between 10 and 3 and I have no problems with that. But wait til this winter when I'm commuting in the mornings when it's 35 out.......man will I start whining! LOL
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Shucks! I think it was nicer in AZ today than the northeast!! I had a BEEYOUUUTEEFULL ride at 9:00 am! I think it was mid 80's, slight breeze, just enough humidity in the air to not make it feel like a blow dryer. PERFECT!!!
And SOOOO unlike AZ in August!!
BOY HOWDY!!![]()
