has anyone else run into this problem? i'm afraid to use it for running, indoors or out. if it is a normal problem is there a good mp3 player to use?
The iPod uses a hard drive, so it's NOT made for running.

The Nano uses a flash drive, so it's made for running. I guess this is why the Shuffle doesn't get messed up why running.

    Get a Nano... problem solved.

    Shuffle vs Nano

I don't know, I have a Nano and a Shuffle, and it bugs me that the Nano can't work like the Shuffle. Shuffle: load Podcasts, turn on, and go. It plays them I _think_ in order of newest to oldest. Nano: load with Podcasts. Scroll through the menu to Podcasts, and the particular Podcast you want, and the particular episode you want, then it plays only that one before stopping. I only use it in the car- it's too complicated for the bike. Maybe it's better for just music...Plus, the Shuffle has a great pretty sweat-proof nice small case, and there is no way to practically waterproof the Nano. Yeah, there's the Otterbox, which at least doubles the size of it. Nothing else is anywhere near sweatproof. And try using the controls while doing anything or in bright sunlight. The Shuffle is simple, foolproof, easy to use. I love it.
