Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

LOL. Well, thanks for hanging in there with me. You know I love ya for it. I was done as soon as we started too. That 25 miles felt way longer than the 63+ we did yesterday!![]()
Don't usually make a habit of riding with my husband on the mountain bike but I didn't have any rides planned so I invited myself on the ride on the mountain yesterday with my husband and a couple of other guys. It's just too hard for me to keep up on the rocky technical stuff, but I went for it anyway. Well, it turned out to be a great ride! The ground was wet from a really nice rain so the traction was tacky and perfect, and I rode all of a downhill that I NEVER ride all of. I also hung in there real well on all the hills, I guess all the training I did for hte Bicycle Tour of Colorado paid off for me. It has given me great endurance something which I have always been lacking in. I was so proud!![]()
It is very unusual to have a lot of humidity here in Flag, but right now the humidity is pretty high with monsoons going every day. The mountain was beautiful and misty!
DDH,
It was good to see you back at it!. It was raining when I woke up, so I decided to sleep in.
